Best Spring Break Ever Part II

Santorini is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Let’s just get that out of the way. You’re going to be hearing a lot about it throughout this blog post, but I’m not gonna talk too much. I think Santorini is better seen than read about (and I want to show off the pictures I got, some of them are the best I’ve ever taken! And most, if not all, of you have seen them already but too bad they’re worth seeing again)

So, here goes a photoblog!

As the gates open on our ferry

We had a driver. He spelled our names Horge and Kris

The Volcano/Caldera

Daisies/Imerovigli (the town we were in)

View of the Caldera from our Villa

Sunset from the Villa

Once again

Our third day on the Island was all fog. At one point you couldn't see farther than your face.

The next day four of us went down to Ammoudi Bay, where we saw this enormous swordfish

So, being the tourists that we are, we took a picture with it. (From l-r: Andrew, Me, Adam, Eric)

A church up in Oia, the town on the north side of the island renowned for its Sunsets

Typical postcard shot

Beginning of the sunset

The boys (8 out of the 14 Cattolicaites on the Island that SB)

Lighthouse on the Southern tip of the Island

Rocky cliffs near the Lighthouse

The boat we took a private tour of the Caldera on

After the Hotsprings (a sulfurous mess. worth it)

Silhouette of the cliff a few of our friends jumped from

Danny Mac off the cliff

Sunset from the boat as we came in to Ammoudi Bay

Swordfish dinner!

One night I was an insomniac and stayed up to watch the sunrise with my friend Julia. It was worth it

More sunrise

The next day we did nothing except lay on the Black Sand beaches of Santorini

This smoothie was amazing

Black Sand looked like Black Pebbles

Pyrgos, highest town on the island, lit itself on fire for Good Friday

On the last day, Jorge and I took a trip to Oia to get another look around

More Oia
